That’s when the big question pops up, “what are panic attacks?” Well, here’s the answer to your underlying question.  Panic attacks go through a discrete period of intense anxiety, are very sudden, fear, mounting physiological arousal, stomach problems that are associated with a variety of cognitive and somatic symptoms, which can be very discomforting.  These onset episodes may have no triggers and are typically abrupt.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Even though these episodes occur randomly, they are subsets commonly referred to as fight or flight which is an evolutionary response that can occur out of context.  Hormones and epinephrine (adrenaline) flood the body, which aids in defending the body against harm. It is said that the experience of a panic attack is one of the most intense, frightening, upsetting, and uncomfortable experiences in a person’s life.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The symptoms of an attack commonly last for about thirty minutes, according to the American Psychological Association (APA).  Panic attacks can also be as short as 15 seconds on the other hand, attacks can last for extended periods of time, they can form a cyclic series of episodes which can last for hours.  In situations where attacks have been previously occurring, often those that are afflicted will experience anticipatory anxiety significantly and in between attacks they will have limited symptom attacks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Commonly, panic attacks are link to what is called agoraphobia, the fear of not being able to get out of a bad situation.  Many who have these attacks experience feelings like they are unable to free themselves, basically feeling trapped.  From person to person the effect of the attack varies.  First time sufferers may call emergency services for assistance because they probably did not think about the big question, “what are panic attacks?” If you are a first time sufferer you may feel as though you are having a nervous break down or a heart attack.	So, before calling for assistance try to gain as much knowledge as you can about panic attacks and what causes them. Knowing this will empower you and can possibly help you or someone you love.</p>

There are way that you can prevent other emotional disorders and negativity from brewing inside of you. The following approaches that have been found to be effective in treating panic attacks are physical exercise, breathing exercises, meditative awareness/mindfulness, and yoga techniques.</p>

This will help you to develop a larger perspective of the problem besides focusing on your symptoms or basically the result of the panic attacks. Let’s take a look at some helpful tips for stopping panic attacks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are a number of different ways that you can employ for stopping panic attacks.  The first thing you must do is seek a doctor for the proper diagnosis. He or she will prescribe you with a traditional medication, usually a mood stabilizer and anti-depressant depending on the type of experiences that you are having.  The drugs prescribed to you may lessen the manifestation of the symptoms however, the medications do not cure the symptoms they can actually cause side effects that may become harmful to the body.  Some doctors may encourage to you take a holistic treatment aside from medication. A holistic approach may include the following techniques such as support groups, psychotherapy and even undergoing confinement.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the long run, if you choose to continue on with the medication this will only cause you to be drug dependent and even partaking in drug abuse.  You may want to stop taking the drugs but, you will only be able to stay away from them for a short period of time because withdrawal symptoms start to set in.  In order to maintain a normal stress free day you would eventually have to go back to taking your medication, if you’re not focused on trying to follow a holistic treatment.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Stopping panic attacks is not the easiest thing; you may undergo all types of treatments and psychotherapy. There may be a lot of people providing assistance to you but, if you are not willing to undergo the treatments and go through them successfully, it would then be a waste of time.  There are also nutritional supplements out on the market that may promise to treat or cure panic attacks.  The Food and Drug Administration should not be trusted because most of the time these drugs are not tested to check to see if they provide a cure to your underlining symptoms.  If you decide to take these drugs then you’re not dealing with the root of the problem; you limit yourself in getting better emotionally, physically, mentally and all of your money that goes into these drugs would be for nothing. So, the best treatment for stopping panic attacks is to take a holistic approach.</p>

Some people will over look the first attack and then continuously have them and still get no help for the condition.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Let’s first take a look at what a panic attack really is and then you can determine if you need panic attack help. Generically, a it’s is a bunch of wrong or negative thoughts, thoughts that are frightening and terrifying.  When these thoughts enter the body, the body simply responds to whichever way the thought terrifies the owner of the body.  At some time in our life everyone is going to experience terrifying thoughts one time or another. Some people may ask, is what you do with those thoughts count?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">People may visualize, or see themselves “panicking” a lot of time through out the day and don’t even know why. Panicking usually gets the person no where if they don’t even know what they’re panicking about.  You may ask “what brought that on?” not realizing that your mind brought on that particular thought.  The mind can see you as panicking and then the brain follows through to fulfill the visualization, this can bring on a panic attack at it’s earliest convenience. Sometimes an attack can happen at the weirdest times when you least expect it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">If you think about it, the more you focus on negative and panicky feelings, the more the fearful and panicky feelings will stay around, clouding your brain and blocking other thoughts, at this point, this is probably where you may need panic attack help.  Once you decide to face your fears, the less intense your fearful thoughts will become. If you label something in your mind it will give it an entity.  What you have to do is take control of the entity and don’t label it as an attack.  If you decide to look at it as an attack, you would only know what that entity means to you and those same entities will continue to thrive.<br />
You have the opportunity to turn your thoughts around so that you can overcome those wrong feelings or thoughts. Give your entities a different name and different labels for example, “panic samplers, panic pounces…” you’ll soon get the idea.  Another way you can look at panic is the emotional or mental state induced by the god, Pan, chant statements like “we’re better than pan, we’re smarter than pan…” We can simply give Pan an entity.</p>

It doesn’t matter how conscientious and cautious you are with crossing the street, driving, the way you use your appliances in your home, accidents are always bound to happen and sometimes you can’t control the outcome of what happens. Therefore, it’s very important for people who suffer with panic anxiety disorders to how to deal with panic attacks approaching you face to face.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To help deal with panic attacks, what you can try to do first is to stop yourself from panicking, making the accident worst than what it is.  Of course for those who suffer with the attacks are saying, “it’s easier said that done.”  However, in order to get rid of the attacks you have to learn how to deal with them.  The vast majority of people will panic especially when danger is unexpected and immediate, although there are some people who maintain concrete composure in the face of accidents and disasters.  To stay protected from harm. People have innate instincts.  During calamities, people also have an innate fear for their lives that can magnify two-fold.  Fear will make your heartbeat accelerate and increase your impulse to flee. You have to focus on yourself and not the situation.  It is good to think logically and focus on the situation for a while, although at the same time you need to also think about your own safety. Simply think of ways on how to deal with the situation. Ask yourself questions like, “What can I do to minimize the effects of the accident?”, “Can I call on someone to help me out in the time of need?”, “What can I do to get away from the area?” By asking these questions and focusing on the proper solution you will be able to get a perspective of what happened and you’ll also be able to deal with the panic attack and forget your own fear.<br />
Hold on to your favorite object. People that suffer with nervous problems calm themselves by holding on to something or anything. That something can be an object that is of importance such as a locket or and image of God. If your lucky charm or object is not available you can always use a stick, rock, pillow or stuffed animal…Having these objects nearby will help you deal with the panic attacks and calm you’re heartbeats and silence the anxiety’s that you may be having. Using a few of these techniques will teach you how to deal with panic attacks.</p>

In this article you’ll find some useful tips for controlling panic attacks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For starters “Learn the triggers”:  People are different, so what triggers an attack for one person does not mean that it’s triggered the same way in another person.  Learning what triggers your panic attacks will help you to cope with them and prepare for them.  You must avoid “caffeine”. Soda, coffee, diet pills and other various products may contain caffeine.  Aggravation can set in if the nervous system has been coated with caffeine, this could lead to a panic attack.</p>

Getting plenty of sleep is helpful. Making you more susceptible to a panic attack is the lack of sleep.  Plenty of sleep will help to rid the problem of panic attacks; this will reduce stress and the chances for your panic attacks to occur.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Exercising regularly can help cease your panic attacks.  Endorphins are released into the bloodstream when exercise is taking place. The natural feeling of euphoria happens to you when endorphins are released.   With regular exercise, this will help to improve your self-esteem, boost your energy level, and it will help you to relax to help reduce you chances of having a panic attack. You should note that the symptoms of a panic attack should not be thought of as a new problem or something that you should continuously worry about. Most of the twinges, aches, and pains that you suffer with will result in the continuation of you GAD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In many ways, a panic attack symptom can be rendered. An acute attack may leave you with a racing heartbeat, hyperventilation, sweating and shaking, tingling, generally feeling awful, the long term effects are also something that you might want to consider.  A physical response to adrenalin rush is a panic attack.  Basically, an adrenaline rush will “turbo-charge” your body which in turn, burns up a lot of energy stressing your physical self. To try and quickly solve the problem, some people may result to drugs to alleviate the symptom but, you still have overcome the panic attack at by digging deep into the root of the symptom.  Pharmaceutical companies could leave you suffering while additional side effects are occurring like a change in persona and in worst cases, complete reliance or addiction to drugs.  There are many self-help approaches for example, cognitive behavior modification and cognitive therapy, which can help tremendously in beating, GAD.</p>
